In Light of Eternity will host a women's retreat at Circle J Camp just 7 miles outside of Tensleep at the base of the Big Horns.

The retreat begins on Saturday, September 26 at noon and ends Sunday, September 27 at noon.

Participants can look forward to 24 hours of relaxation in a beautiful mountain setting. Add to that some great music, lots of laughs and good food. That all adds up to a weekend women of all ages won't want to miss.

Cost is $60 for an overnight stay at Circle J, and four delicious meals.

Don Piper, author of the best selling book, 90 Minutes in Heaven, is coming to Powell this summer.

After being hit by an 18-wheeler in a head on crash in 1989, Don was pronounced DEAD by four sets of EMT's. His body lay in his vehicle for 90 minutes, but his spirit got a glimpse of heaven! God returned Don to his body and his life has continued.

He shares his story of heaven and the exciting promise that all can experience it by receiving the precious gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

In Light of Eternity is coordinating the speaking engagement that will take place July 5, 6, and 7 at 7:00 P.M. at Northwest College in Powell, WY. The event is FREE! Yes, FREE to all who come.

In Light of Eternity will provide the music and worship time, followed by Don's amazing story and an invitation to all to get on board the Halleluia Train to Heaven!

Funding for the event is coming from local churches and individuals who wish to contribute. Although Don doesn't charge a speaker's fee, we need to cover his travel expenses and the advertising we want to do.

We, and lots of people we know, have been waiting patiently (?) for our new CD, A Place Called Heaven. It will be availble May 13 at our CD release concert in Powell at the Commons.

We're so excited about this new CD. Listening to it will bring you joy and hope. The hymn selections, contemporary pieces and originals express the promise of heaven and the hope we have because of Jesus! These songs are some of our MOST FAVORITE!

The title song, A Place Called Heaven, is a fun song that turns scripture verses about heaven into upbeat song verses and choruses.

We had the opportunity to add Nebraska to our list of states visited to date!

The Presbyterian Church in Gordon, NE hosted us for an evening concert and invited us to coordinate the Easter service on Sunday, April 12.

We also visited Casper's Winter Memorial Presbyterian Church on April 10, where we did our Heaven Bound concert.

Our CD release concert will be scheduled for sometime in 2009 (hopefully the first few months) and will be held in Powell. Watch for dates.

We recently completed work on a CD titled "A Place Called Heaven". This new CD will be released in 2009 and contains a combination of hymns, contemporary, and original songs.

We're very excited about this new CD as it contains so many of our very favorite songs.

We also produced a Christmas CD called "Heaven Sings Tonight". It's a beautiful collection that has blessed family and friends near and far.

Since our entry about traveling to South Dakota in June of 2007, we have sung in several more Wyoming and Montana communities as well as taking our first 'flying' leap to Oregon! We flew into Portland and visited Hood River, Hermiston, Adams, and Pendleton.

We learned how to pack...I mean REALLY how to pack! Three women with one bag each is a major accomplishment!

Wonderful friends hosted us, and those who attended concerts welcomed us warmly.

We continue to wait on the Lord for His direction as we pray for openings in additional states. Praise God for His intervention and perfect timing in all we do! What a blessing to see Him at work.

When we began planning and praying about our tour to South Dakota, we started to talk about how this would be our very first state tour, outside of Wyoming where we are from. We joked about how we could tour every state in the country; that we would call this our "One State at a Time Tour."

Well, that's exactly what God has put on our hearts. To visit every state in this country and share His message of salvation and the promise of Heaven; a real, beautiful, amazing, unbelievable place where we can spend eternity with God.

Our 10-day South Dakota tour was terrific. We started in Spearfish, SD on June 25, 2007 and then went on to Pierre, Watertown, Sioux Falls and Winner. Jean and Tami are originally from South Dakota, and Cindy is from Nebraska. (We'll hit that state soon, too!)
